APATHEISM, WHAT IS IT?
Apatheism; A word most men have never heard — and a condition many people are living in. Apatheism is a portmanteau, which is a word created by blending the sounds and meanings of two distinct words.
Apathy plus theism = Apatheism. It doesn't mean you hate God. You don't deny God. You just don't care. Whether God is real, whether He's watching, whether He matters — an antheismist shrugs off and moves on with their day.
That's not atheism. The atheist at least took a stand. He said “no” and has to defend it. Apatheism doesn't even show up to the fight. It just changes the channel.

And here's the truth: This one of the most common conditions in the world today.
Not the guy who's fighting God. The guy who's forgotten God. You go to church because your wife asked you to. You bow your head because everyone else did. You haven't prayed, never read and study your Bible, never really prayed and communicated with God, not since you needed something.

God is not your enemy. He's not even your friend. God is just like furniture. Background noise. Something you may agree exists in the same way you agree Australia exists — you've just never been there and never plan to go.
That is not neutral ground. There is no neutral ground.
Revelation 3 doesn't say God hates the cold. It says He hates the lukewarm:
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” (Revelation 3:15-16)
Lukewarm isn't safe. Lukewarm is what gets spit out. God would rather you rage against Him than yawn at Him — because rage means you still believe He's real enough to fight. Apathy means you've decided He's not even worth the argument.

You didn't walk away from God. That would take courage. You just stopped showing up. And God knows the difference. God sees a man who curses His name and a man who simply forgot His name, and God says the second one is further gone — because at least the first man still knows there's Someone to be angry at. So here's the question for tonight, man to man:
When's the last time you actually cared? Not performed. Not nodded along. Cared — enough to lose sleep over it, enough to get on your knees over it, enough that if Gid asked you something tonight you'd actually feel it in your chest?
If you can't remember — that's not because God left the room. It's because you did. Years ago. Quietly. And nobody noticed, including you. Today, God is not asking for your certainty. He's not asking for perfect theology. God is not even asking you to clean up before you come to Him, this is where many fail, thinking Giod is angry with them That is not true.
